Salman Khan, Sonam Kapoor’s ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ collects Rs 172.82 crore in eight days

Salman Khan’s ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’s collections have gone up from Rs. 165.43 cr to ₹ 172.82 cr in India in eight days of its release. The film, which has brought back the Prem from 90s, has been loved by all Salman Khan fans.

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, which had released on November 12, a day after Diwali, is inching close to the Rs 200 crore mark in India.

After witnessing a smashing start at the box office by minting in Rs. 40.35 cr on the first day of its release just a day after Diwali, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo has been strong on the business front until now.

The movie crossed the Rs. 150 cr mark in mere five days of its release and shattering all records set by the previous Salman Khan films.

Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh took to twitter to share the day-wise collections of the Hindi version.

The movie’s collections till Wednesday (November 18) were Rs 165.45 crore.

Salman Khan, who is busy hosting the reality based television show ‘Bigg Boss 9’, plays a theatre artist in ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’, who falls in love with Princess Maithili (Sonam Kapoor). Apart from the lead actors, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Swara Bhaskar and Anupam Kher are also seen in pivotal roles.
