With a right-wing outfit alleging that some scenes of film ‘PK‘ hurts religious sentiments of the majority community, a member of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) today said the Censor Board should remove the scenes to ensure that communal harmony is not disturbed.

“It has come to notice that some scenes of film PK hurt religious sentiments. If it is so, it is not good. Freedom of expression does not mean hurting someone’s sentiments. If there are such scenes, the Censor Board should remove them so that communal harmony is not disturbed,” Maulana Khalid Rashid Farangi Mahali said.

“The way atmosphere of the country and UP was vitiated, small matters are blown out of proportion and issues like ‘Love Jihad’ and conversion were being raised, it is the need of the hour to take precautions while making films,” he said.

“If a movie had material that hurt religious sentiments, especially when it is acted by a Muslim Aamir Khan, who played a Hindu character, it could be taken otherwise,” the Maulana said.

Right-wing group Hindu Janajagruti Samiti has claimed that the film hurts the sentiments of the majority community and has sought an immediate ban on the movie, saying its content is “highly provocative”.

Duh uh ? Where in the w movie did they make fun of your god or any god ? The point put up is belief in religion should not be confused with supersion and utter nonsense faith in godmen and for materialictic fullfilment. People like you make me realise that these things cannot be changed, cause you'll are just blindfolded dumb people who do not act on the logic or sense, instead just follow some stupid trend or people and call yourself the real bhakts ! Lol to you.

I don't think there is any thing wrong or provocative shown in the movie. The movie just brings out the negatives which are prevalent among the followers of all religions. The movie is a satire on practices which we ociate with respective religions without thinking the rationale behind it. It's shame that instead of rectifying what is wrong with the society, we are crying se about a particular religion getting disrespected. It's like killing the messenger, if you don't like the news it brings.
