Pink may currently be the warmest and brightest colour of the industry with most of B-town raving about the film and performances of its lead actors but certainly not for this two films old leggy Delhi lass.

The lanky model-turned-actress — who was last seen in an ensemble big ticket film that sank like the Titanic — was not quite impressed after watching Big B’s latest celluloid drama that also features three spunky girls. The actress was overheard telling the director of her first film on the sidelines of a fashion event that she found the movie to be an average watch and there was nothing great to tom-tom about it. She thought the movie was quite slow and not exactly worthy of the buzz that it is currently generating. And her mother too shared the same feelings about the film. The director gave her a patient listening and said, “I haven’t seen the film yet. I will watch it and tweet.” Of course, the director was the one who kickstarted the conversation by asking the actress if she has watched any films lately.

Meanwhile, our tall lady put forward a different face in public and was all gung-ho about the movie praising it to the hilt when asked about it. She was all praises for the ‘relevant’ message it delivered. Such lies we say. But then diplomacy is what most B-town folks practise in public. We can’t help but think how perhaps it could have been her Delhi upbringing that helped her spot loopholes in the film that others couldn’t. Or maybe, this could be a case of plain envy.
