Bollywood’s beauty queen Priyanka Chopra is upset with how vulnerable people are on social media these days. The actress, who was voted as ‘most popular social media celebrity’ last year, said on Twitter about how nasty and mean people are with their comments and posts on the social media.

The starlet posted a series of tweets on the social media scenario:

Priyanka requested people not to hate too much saying, “Anyway. Had a moment of feeling sad for what the world is turning into.let people live their lives guys.and smile a lil.dont hate so much..”

Priyanka Chopra usually keeps active on the social networking websites like Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. She shares her personal and professional life quite openly on social media and also interacts frequently with her fans.

In the past, microblogging site, Twitter has become a medium that every individual uses to proclaim and circulate their opinions. Bollywood stars also do the same. However, majority of their tweets mainly revolve around them promoting their work or films.

According to an analysis, actors and actresses equally promote their work and social causes that they support. Actresses promote brands three times more than male celebrities. Actors interact with their fans 1.5 times more than female celebrities. Salman Khan has the highest number of tweets interacting with fans.
