It seems everyone in the tinsel town, from young A-listers to superstar Salman Khan is excited to watch Akshay Kumar’s Rustom, which is set to hit the screens on August 12. Now the Student Of The Year star, Sidharth Malhotra has also joined the crowd along with his pet dog, Oscar to show support to Akshay Kumar.

Borrowing a line from the film which was delivered by Akshay Kumar himself, Sidharth Malhotra appreciated the senior star in the video saying, “Wah Wah kya dialogue hain but no one can do it better that you Akshay Paaji.”

In a fun interaction with his pet named Oscar, he exclaimed, “5 days to Rustom guys,” and expressed his excitement.

“@akshaykumar paahji Oscar is also super intrigued n excited 2 watch #5DaysToRustom big hug n tongue 4rm Oscar, love u,” he tweeted.

“Sid knows, even Oscar knows…do you? Only #5DaysToRustom! Ready to watch it baar baar?,” Akshay Kumar wrote while retweeting the video.

Earlier, the Neerja actress, Sonam Kapoor also shared her support for the film and prior to her Ranveer Singh had shared a Throwback photo to promote Akshay Kumar’s film and backed it with a video. The throwback photo featured both the actors. In his typical fun loving fashion, Ranveer Singh had posted a video where he danced to the tunes of “Zeher hai ke pyar hai tera chumma’’ dressed as a Navy officer.

The promotional videos of Rustom were also shared by filmmaker Karan Johar and Sonakshi Sinha.

As much as one can appreciate the support Bollywood actors have for each other, one can help but notice that, no support had arrived for Hrithik Roshan’s film Mohenjo Daro that is set to release on the same date. When the actor was asked about it, he replied, “It is a good thing. It’s a fraternity. If someone needs support then we must support.”
