Hindi cinema’s “simple but firebrand” actress Nimrat Kaur, who turned 34 on Sunday (March 13), has been wished a “great” year by her friends from the film fraternity.
“Happy birthday to one of the most unassuming and simple but firebrand Punjabi kudi… Have a blast Nimrat. Come back to party,” filmmaker Nikkhil Advani tweeted.
Nimrat is popular for playing Ila in the 2013 film “The Lunchbox”. The actress was also part of 2012 the “Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana” and was last seen on-screen in January in “Airlift”.
The actress was also seen in the fourth season of the American television series “Homeland”, in which she played Tasneem Qureshi, an Inter-Services Intelligence agent. She will also be seen in “Wayward Pines”, a new TV series.
Actor Saqib Saleem shared: “Happy birthday our international star Nimrat… Keep making us proud.. Love”, while Riteish Deshmukh said: “Happy Birthday Nimrat. Have a great one.”
Filmmaker Karan Johar wished her a “spectacular year”, and sent out a “huge hug”.
