Neil Nitin Mukesh is in news again. No not for any upcoming movie or project. He has said that his mother wanted to be his girlfriend in her next birth during an interview with Zoom. Well, the actor might have tried to sound ‘cool’ and ‘liberal’. But apparently, his statement hasn’t gone down well with twitterati. And they have found yet another reason to troll him.

“I am the most romantic person probably in the world. I enjoy doing grey characters because in personal life I am totally opposite. My mom once told me that she wants to be born as my girlfriend in the next birth because she sees me how I am, I am extremely expressive and she loves me for that, ” said the actor during the interview.

Remember the last film of Neil Nitin Mukesh? Don’t worry. Even we don’t remember. He was last seen in Wazir co-starring Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar. The rumour of him being cast in Games of Thrones sent Twitterati into a frenzy. Neil was also in the news when he was detained at an airport in Britain when authorities somehow couldn’t believe that an Indian could look so fair.

But right now, it is his comment about his mother which has Twitter’s attention.

Neil is also the victim of his long, slightly strange name – a combination of three different words. At an award function, Shah Rukh Khan took a dig at his quirky name. On the work front, we really don’t know what Neil is up to.

On a serious note, Neil has joined hands with animal rights organisation People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) India for a campaign against elephant joyrides.
