Actor Akshay Kumar has rubbished reports that he is unhappy with the script of his next film “Namste England” and says it is still being penned.

“Namaste London” was a 2007 hit romantic-drama film, directed by Vipul Shah starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif.

In 2011, Vipul announced his plan to make a sequel, “Namaste England”, with Akshay and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead.

When asked about the reports that he wasn’t impressed with the sequel’s script, Akshay said, “Reports have come? Nothing like that… It is still under writing.”

On when the film will go on floors, the 48-year-old actor said, “I don’t know as the script has to be ready.”

Akshay was also a part of “Namaste London” a romantic drama film, directed by Shah. The film also featured Katrina Kaif, Rishi Kapoor, Upen Patel and Javed Sheikh.

“I am very excited to direct this film and with the prospect of working with Akshay once again. We have had the best run in the past and I hope to continue that with this one. I have been reading reports about this being a sequel to Namaste London… I would like to make it absolutely clear that Namaste England is not a sequel of Namaste London. In fact this has nothing to do with Namaste London. I hope this puts all the speculations to rest. My producers have shown faith in my vision and I want to do justice to their faith,” Vipul Shah said.

Meanwhile, Akshay is happy with the good response garnered by his recent release “Rustom”. He will be seen next in “Jolly LLB 2” and “Robot 2”.
