Mani Ratnam hospitalised , now stable
Noted film director Mani Ratnam was admitted to a Delhi hospital late Tuesday (May 5) night after complaining of chest pain.

Noted film director Mani Ratnam was admitted to a Delhi hospital late Tuesday (May 5) night after complaining of chest pain.
When contacted, doctors confirmed that the director was stable and said that his family does not want them to divulge any further details to the public.
Mani Ratnam, a Padma Shri awardee, is best known for his 1995 hit Bollywood movie ‘Bombay’. He also tasted success in Bollywood with ‘Guru’, starring Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan.
Ratnam’s recent Tamil movie, ‘OK Kanmani’ has been a huge success at the Box Office.
In a career spanning over more than 30 years, Ratnam is accredited for launching stars like A R Rahman and Aishwarya Rai. He has also helmed movies like ‘Roja’ (1992), ‘Dil Se’ (1998) and ‘Yuva’ (2004) among others.
