Year 2015 has been a lucky year for many television actors as they have made their way to the silver screen. Karan Singh Grover made his debut in the film industry with ‘Alone’ Opposite Bipasha Basu, Kapil Sharma was lauded for his performance in ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon’, Gurmeet Choudhary also made it to the silver screen with ‘Khamoshiyan’.
Karan Singh Grover: Television star Karan Singh Grover, who made his place in the hearts of his fans with his role as a doctor in ‘Dil Mill Gaye’ set the silver screen ablaze in 2015 with his Bollywood debut opposite Bipasha Basu in ‘Alone’. The actor, who enjoyed humongous success and fan following on the small screen always had a personality for the big screen, be it his physique or appeal or his acting skills. His career as a big screen actor has already kicked off as his second movie ‘Hate Story 3’ was also a hit.
Kapil Sharma: Funny man of television Kapil Sharma made a breakthrough debut in films with ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon’. Directed by Abbas-Mustan, Kapil was seeb romancing Elli Avram and four more actresses in the film. Having a successful career in TV, he did not leave the small screen.
Gurmeet Choudhary: Once famous as the ‘Ram’ of television, Gurmeet Choudhary entered into Bollywood with Vikram Bhatt’s ‘Khamoshiyan’ opposite Sapna Pabbi. The actor has also done several reality shows to his credits.
Vikrant Massey: Vikrant Massey, who grew to fame with his role in the popular television show ‘Balika Vadhu’, made his debut on big screen with Dil Dhadakne Do. The actor also has few short films to his credits. He recently turned producer with a short film titled ‘35mm’.
Barun Sobti: Barun Sobti, who was a famous household name during the show ‘Iss Pyaar ko Kya Naam Doon’, disappeared from TV for some time to surprise his fans with his Bollywood debut film ‘Main Aur Mr. Right’.
