It is not just the eye-pleasing actors or soulful music but also the dialogues of the film which are making Ae Dil Hai Mushkil a must watch for a lot of people. But what if we tell you that some of these dialogues or couplets narrated by Ranbir Kapoor in the film have been written by Karan Johar himself? Well, yes! During one of the promotions, Ranbir revealed that some of the poems that we hear in the trailers have been promptly penned down by the ace director himself.
Ranbir Kapoor went on to promote ADHM on television dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa. When host Manish Paul asked Ranbir to narrate the shayari he has said in the film, the actor Ranbir revealed that it is not just a shayari but lines which depict the mood of the film quite well. He said, “It’s not a shayari! Our great director Karan Johar had impromptu written this poem while travelling which kind of encompasses the vibe of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.”

“Jab Pyaar mein Pyaar nah ho, Jab dard mein yaar nah ho
Jab aasoun mein muskaan na ho, Jab Laafzo mein zubaan nah ho
Jab saasein bas yunhi chale, Jab har din mein raat dhale
Jab intezaar sirf waqt ka ho, Jab yaad uss kambat ka ho
Kyun hun mein rahi jab kisi aur ki manzil, Dhadkano ne saath chhod diya
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil”
Just not that, the actor also performed on Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’s title track and we also saw him getting a bit emotional by the end of it. To those who are not aware of the show, Jhalak has Karan as one of the judges and the film, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, marks his comeback as a director after four years.
The film faced flak due to the involvement of Pakistani actor Fawad Khan in the film and was banned by Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS). The ban was cleared on Saturday after MNS demanded that the producers of the film pay a sum of Rs 5 crore to the army welfare fund as an atonement. The film will release on its scheduled date, October 28.
