Kapil Sharma, who has been prepping up for the release of his second film Firangi, has shared the motion poster of the film. The film, which also marks the comedian’s debut as a producer, is a period drama set in the year 1920. However, not much about Kapil’s role has been revealed so far. The funnyman took to Twitter to share the motion poster. The comedian also announced that with the release of this motion poster, he will also start promotions of the film.

In the motion poster, we see Kapil dressed up as a soldier and can be seen kicking an army general, who is a Britisher.

The film has been in news already, thanks to Kapil who did not fail to mention it every now and then. In fact, he has stopped shooting for new episodes of his comedy show, The Kapil Sharma Show, to completely concentrate on Firangi.

During a Twitter chat, Kapil Sharma confirmed that he would soon come back on television to make his audience laugh but only after Firangi’s shoot gets over. He also slammed the rumour of the show going off-air because of low TRPs.

During the same chat, he revealed that he would be lending his voice to a song in the film, which definitely left his fans in excitement.

Kapil made his debut on the silver screen with Abbas Mustan’s Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Karun, which released in 2015.

Directed by Rajiev Dhingra and produced by K9 Productions, Firangi is slated to release on November 10.
