A police complaint has been filed against Kamaal R. Khan aka KRK, who has been in headlines for his social media updates and remarks towards women in showbiz. FIR is filed in Versova for posting derogatory pictures and comments about Bollywood heroines on Facebook and Twitter.
ANI tweeted confirming the FIR news. As per other reports, Mumbai-based lawyer Rizwan Siddiqui filed the complaint against KRK in Versova police station for posting nasty remarks against female actors and models on Twitter. It is alleged that the self-proclaimed film critic has harassed over 18 actresses on the internet from 2012.
KRK has been booked under Sections 354 and 309 of the Indian Penal Code.
This is not the first time KRK has landed in such trouble. Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt had slapped a defamation case against him for his derogatory remarks towards women in showbiz and he had to apologise.
Of late, Bhatt has been vocal in slamming Khan.
In reaction to Bhatt’s statements on the controversy, Khan then tweeted:
“Today I watched @TheVikramBhatt on @TheQuint n he said-KRK has got big social media power so he should decide whether he wants to be..Cont..”
“Recognised as a troll only or respected critic n I am 100% agree with his statement. So thanks to @TheVikramBhatt for showing me right way.”
