Jon Favreau’s American live-action epic adaptation of Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book is going to release in April and there is some good news for Indian fans.
For the Hindi dub of ‘The Jungle Book’ , the reworked version of ‘Jungle jungle baat chali hai, pata chala hai, chaddi pehen ke phool khila hai, phool khila hai’ written by Gulzar will be included. This will take back viewers to the animated series, “Jungle Book: The Adventures of Mowgli” that aired on Doordarshan in the ’90s.
The new and reworked version of the hit track Jungle Jungle Baat Chali Hai has been re-recorded by Gulzar and director Vishal Bhardwaj, who had initially composed it for the animated version of Jungle Book aired on TV 23 year ago.
UTV released the song on their Twitter handle and in the video we can see young kids recording the song in a studio while Vishal and Gulzar sit on the recording table.
