Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is all set for his new film , Jolly LLB 2, which is a sequel to the 2013 courtroom comedy drama Jolly LLB starring Arshad Warsi and Boman Irani in the lead roles. The Airlift actor, who will be playing the role of a lawyer in his upcoming film released a poster of him riding a scooter.
Akshay Kumar and Fox Star Hindi took to Twitter to share another look of the actor from the film.
“Get set to meet Jolly tonight. The journey of #JollyLLB2 begins…here is the teaser poster!!,” Tweeted the actor. “Presenting the teaser poster of #JollyLLB2! Gear up to meet @akshaykumar as #Jolly tonight. Releasing February 10, 2017,” tweeted Fox Star Hindi.
The poster which was released today, showed Akshay Kumar on a scooter, advertising himself as a lawyer. From these few glances, one can safely assume that Akshay Kumar won’t be carrying his superstar swagger in the film. In 2016, with releases like Airlift, Rustom and Housefull 3, the actor has proved that he has a sixth sense when it comes to choosing script and he also knows how to balance slapstick with a solid performance.
Also, the scooter has become something of a leitmotif every time a superstar plays a small-town guy. From Salman Khan in Sultan to Aamir Khan in Dangal, we have seen them taking a scooter ride. Now, it seems Akshay has also passed the scooter test.

The previous film dealt with Jolly, a struggling lawyer trying to make it big by capitalising on a hit-and-run case. The privileged defendant hires a skilful and well-connected lawyer against him and each time Jolly approaches the truth, he is hindered by goons. The film was loosely based on Salman Khan’s 2002 hit-and-run case.

While the first film did not hint at a sequel, director Subhash Kapoor seems to have found a compelling story again which demands the services of Jolly. The film’s teaser trailer will be launched on Friday evening. Akshay is at present shooting for his next film, Toilet Ek Prem Katha.
