Bollywood actor John Abraham will wrap up his upcoming action film Force 2 by mid-September, almost two months before the movie hits theatres. The Dishoom star is currently filming the last leg of the Abhinay Deo-directed action-thriller.
“I am shooting nights for Force as we speak. I’ve slept only for half an hour and now I am here. I am doing action sequences now. It is coming out fantastic,” John told PTI in an interview.
“‘Force 2’ releases on November 18 and I finish shooting for it on September 15. So it is just back to back. Ready to go,” he added. The film is a sequel to the 2011 hit “Force”, which starred John and Genelia D’Souza in the lead. Force 2 will bring together the Rocky Handsome star opposite actress Sonakshi Sinha for the first time.
The 43-year-old actor feels Bollywood often “misses a point” when it comes to telling stories, something which he hopes to achieve with Force 2. Force 2 is a sensible film with a lot of action. But we need a story to tell. I think Bollywood misses a point when it comes to storytelling. We are hoping to tell a good story with Force 2,” he told PTI.
“Action, song and dance are all the frills. But I think a good story is really important. That is what are aiming to achieve. I am really excited for the film,” he added. John was recently named brand ambassador of Arunachal Pradesh. The actor expressed his desire to shoot an entire film in the northeast.
