ittefaq, ittefaq song, ittefaq se, ittefaq se video, ittefaq se song, ittefaq se raat baaki baat baaki, raat baaki song Ittefaq: ‘Raat Baaki Baat Baaki’ rehash has nothing in store as a surprise.

Ittefaq’s trailer kept us on the edge of our seats because we knew we have not seen something so intense anytime recently. Now, the makers have released the much-awaited song from the film, the rehashed version of the iconic song “Raat Baaki Baat Baaki”. The new song, titled “Ittefaq Se (Raat Baaki)” is similar to the original track but with some changed lyrics. It has been sung by Jubin Nautiyal, who has kind of become king of rehashes in the recent times. After “Socha Hai” (remake of “Kehdoon Tumhe”), “The Humma Song” (“Humma Humma” by AR Rahman), Jubin is back with “Ittefaq Se” and the lady supporting him in vocals is the very talented Nikita Gandhi.

As the song begins, you cannot help but recall each and every beat from the original track, which had featured in 1982 release ‘Namak Halal’. The one challenge that comes in the way of this recreated version is whether it will be able to do justice to the original iconic track. “Ittefaq Se” does not take the risk to do something different but in an attempt to keep it fresh, it fails to revive the magic or nostalgia. The song blends well with the on-screen drama created by Sonakshi Sinha, Sidharth Malhotra and Akshaye Khanna but if you hear it alone, it might not have a lasting effect on you like the original number. Perhaps that is the reason why the saying goes – ‘old is gold.’
