Actor Irrfan Khan has been invited as the special guest to 14th River to River Florence Indian Film Festival, a festival devoted to Indian cinema.

The festival will hold a special tribute to Irrfan’s varied career by screening his acclaimed movies.

Irrfan, who next appears in Colin Trevorrow’s ‘Jurassic World’, will be celebrated by the festival with the screening of his films ‘Qissa’, ‘The Namesake’ and ‘Paan Singh Tomar’. Seven episodes of the third season of the HBO series ‘In Treatment’, starring the actor, will be screened as well.

The festival, which runs from December 6 to 12, will showcase over 40 films. The festival has been founded and is directed by Selvaggia Velo.
