IPL not enough? Shah Rukh Khan now wants to own football team

"I am interested in buying stakes in the football league. If the football team happens then it is for Kolkata. We have limited resources but we are working towards it. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan says he wants to buy a football team, which will take part in the proposed IPL-style football league, promoted by All India Football Federation (AIFF) and IMG-Reliance.

“I am interested in buying stakes in the football league. If the football team happens then it is for Kolkata. We have limited resources but we are working towards it. Football team is 100 percent on cards,” Shah Rukh Khan said.

Meanwhile, the 48-year-old actor seems quite excited about the upcoming season of IPL scheduled in April and May.
