A sad news broke on Sunday (November 20) morning that 14 coaches of the Indore-Patna Express were derailed near Pukhrayan in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh in the early hours. According to latest reports, at least 107 people have lost their lives and 200 were injured in the train accident. This news left the entire nation shocked including the Bollywood industry. Megastar Amitabh Bachchan was saddened so much that he took to Twitter to express his condolences. Others, who expressed grief were Priyanka Chopra, Anupam Kher, Preity Zinta and others.
Big B wrote on his Twitter account, “T 2448 – Saddened beyond words, watching visuals of the Patna-Indore train accident .. prayers for the hurt and bereaved!”
Priyanka Chopra, who is presently busy with her Hollywood and TV projects, namely Baywatch and Quantico 2, shared, “My Heart bleeds for the victims of the Patna-Indore train accident.. Condolences and courage to the families.”
Anupam Kher tweeted, “My heartfelt condolences to the families of victims of #KanpurTrainTragedy. May God give them courage to deal with it. #Prayers 🙏.”
Preity Zinta also tweeted post the tragic accident. Indore-Patna Express got derailed. “My thoughts & prayers 🙏 with all the people affected with the tragedy on #PatnaIndoreExpress R.I.P,” she tweeted.
