I have Salman Khan’s blessings, says debutant Omkar Kapoor

Omkar Kapoor, who played the role of young Salman Khan in Judwaa, is ready to make his Bollywood debut with 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2'. And blessing him with good wishes is none other than Salman.

Omkar Kapoor Omkar Kapoor, who made a name for himself as a child actor with films like ‘Masoom, Judwaa, Judaai’ and ‘Hero No 1’ among others, admitted that he had to wait for the right role to make his debut as an adult.

Remember the kid, who played young Salman Khan in Judwaa? Omkar Kapoor is all grown-up today and ready to make his Bollywood debut as an adult with ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2’. And blessing him with good wishes is none other than Salman Khan.

“My brother Vikas Kapoor was Salman Khan’s business manager for eight years. My family shares a great equation with Salman bhai’s family. Salman has always been very supportive. He is aware of my debut and has wished me all the best,” said Omkar.

Omkar, who made a name for himself as a child actor with films like ‘Masoom, Judwaa, Judaai’ and ‘Hero No 1’ among others, admitted that he had to wait for the right role to make his debut as an adult. “Better late than never. I wanted to wait for the right role and am happy the wait has been worth it.”

While Salman Khan has been launching a lot of newcomers, we wondered if Omkar ever had a desire to be launched by the Dabangg Khan. “Everyone desires the same. But for now I would like to prove my worth with this film so that I will have something in my hand to show others,” said Omkar.
