Aditya Roy Kapoor, who started out in the glamour world as a VJ, has come a long way today. From playing second leads opposite A-list actors to finally grabbing lead projects on his own merit, Aditya is one of the younger actors to watch out for in current times.
The actor is also not oblivious to the competition around him but the same doesn’t make him nervous and neither does he get envious or bitter about his contemporaries success.
When asked how he viewed competition from other actors, Aditya told IndianExpress.com, “Competition should translate into a positive thing. If you are trying to look at your contemporararies and get bitter or envious about their success then it defeats the whole purpose and it would only mean you are looking elsewhere instead of working on yourself and bettering your own work.” (Read: Katrina Kaif goes shopping with Fitoor co-actor Aditya Roy Kapoor in Janpath, Delhi; see pics)
Aditya prefers to get inspired by competition around him instead of getting bogged down. “Competition should inspire you. That is the best way of looking at it. If I see a good performance, I get the feeling that I should do better. If there is something good, I look to imbibe those goof qualities.” (PHOTOS: Katrina Kaif, Aditya Roy Kapoor go shopping at Janpath, Delhi)
The actor also opined that there is enough work for every newcomer in B-town. “There is no dearth of work. We are not grabbing each others work or stepping on each others toes. Luckily this batch of us has enough work and only time will tell who stands the test of time.”
Aditya will be seen in Fitoor opposite Katrina Kaif.
