John Abraham was in the capital for the promotions of his upcoming movie Rocky Handsome where he talked about the jokes cracked by actor Riteish Deshmukh that took a dig at him.

The actor, who is rarely seen at the award shows, called awards circus ads and that he refrains from going to such places. (Read: John Abraham does not consider himself ‘handsome’)
When asked to comment on this, John said, “I don’t go for award functions, they are circus ads. So, I don’t take awards seriously. Riteish is a friend and I think that people crack jokes there so I take it in good spirits. He is a good guy and I don’t take such things seriously.” (Also read: John Abraham calls Akshay Kumar his ‘guruji’)
John seemed to have taken the jokes cracked on him in a positive way. The actor has worked with Riteish in Housefull 2.
The actor, who has a passion for motorcycles hasn’t been seen riding bikes for quiet some time now. When asked if he would do some movie based on bikes, he said, “I would like to do a film on motorcycling because in today’s time motorcycles are used only as props. So, I want to get bikes back as a purest thing. It is really sad.”
John’s Rocky Handsome, directed by Nishikant Kamat will release on March 25.
