Actor Sushant Singh Rajput says has not signed any films post the release of the biopic M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story but he is reading a few scripts.
Sushant on Tuesday shared that he is going through some “really interesting stuff” and will keep everyone updated about it.
“I have been reading some really interesting stuff lately but I have not signed any films post ‘Dhoni’ release. Will keep you guys informed,” Sushant tweeted.
M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story is the second highest grosser of 2016. Worldwide, the sports film, which traces the journey of one of the most successful captains of Team India, has done a business of over Rs 215 crore, behind only Salman Khan’s Sultan. It beat Akshay Kumar’s Airlift and Rustom.
MS Dhoni: The Untold Story marks a benchmark in Sushant Singh Rajput’s career who rose to fame right after his debut film Kai Po Che which was based on Chetan Bhagat’s novel 3 Mistakes of My Life. It was his interest in cricket in his debut film, that convinced producer Arun Pandey that Sushant Singh Rajput was worth playing Dhoni in the biopic.
On the work front, Sushant will next be seen sharing screen space with actress Kriti Sanon in the upcoming film Raabta.
The film is helmed by Dinesh Vijan and is co-produced by Vijan and T-series honcho Bhushan Kumar. Sushant had recently also said that he wishes to work with Kangana Ranaut. “One actor with whom I want to work is Kangana Ranaut because she has a lot of potentials and is an amazing performer,” he had said.
