Shah Rukh Khan in Raees reminded us of Baazigar days when SRK was a man with shades of grey, when the lover Rahul was still many films away and when he was all about danger and thrill.
We saw Shah Rukh of yore in the Raees teaser but then nothing. The film is still in limbo in terms of release date and our patience is being sorely tried. But on Eid al-Adha, Raees director took pity on fans like us and shared a dialogue of the film. He tweeted, “Chalo eid pe film Nahi, Ek Chhota sa dialogue hi Sahi: “Gussa shaitaan Ka Hunar hai, issliye haraam hai” #raees @RaeesTheFilm #EidMubaarak.”
For those who remember Raees teaser, its dialogues are its strength. We still remember the rather interesting, ”Baniye ka dimaag aur Miyabhai ki daring.” There was another one, “Ammijaan kehti this, koi dhanda chota nahi hota aur dhande se bada koi dharm nahi hota.”
The film, also starring Pakistani actress Mahira Khan, was supposed to release on Eid, July 6. However, the film was clashing with Salman Khan’s Sultan and Shah Rukh Khan bowed out of the clash.

Shah Rukh Khan is now looking at Republic Day slot next year for the film’s release. Unfortunately, there will be a clash again if this happens. Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil has already claimed the slot and Rakesh Roshan and film’s director Sanjay Gupta have refused to reschedule the film.
So while SRK finalises the release of the film, you savour this dialogue. Eid Mubarak!
