Aamir Khan-starrer Dangal seems to have hit the chord with the audience as the song Dhaakad has got 12 million views within three days.

Superstar Aamir Khan-starrer upcoming film Dangal seems to have hit the chord with the audience as the song Dhaakad has got 12 million views within three days.

After “Haanikaarak Baapu” song, the makers of “Dangal” released their second “Dhaakad”.

The Haryanvi rap is done by Pritam (music composer), the lyrics are penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya and it is sung by Raftaar. The song has crossed over 12 millions of views within three days of it’s release, a statement issued by the makers of the film said.

‘Dhaakad,’ which means powerful, potential, shows the strenuous yet rewarding journey of Geeta and Babita Phogat. Dedicated to the young girls of India, the song showcases the girls wrestling with heavily built men and winning a victory over them with immense ease.

Produced by Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao and Siddharth Roy Kapur and directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the biopic is slated to release on December 23.

Also, a new poster of Aamir Khan and his quartet of budding wrestling champs — his four daughters landed recently. The poster was revealed by Aamir on Twitter while thanking fans for appreciating the film’s second song, Dhaakad.

Aamir Khan’s much-awaited film is a biopic based on the life of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat and how he trained his daughters, Babita and Geeta Phogat, into world champions. This new poster showcase Aamir with his daughters, both who played young Geeta, Babita and also the grown-up versions.
