Deepika Padukone, Vin Diesel wish a happy and safe Diwali to their fans all over the world. The actors will appear in xXx: The Return of Xander Cage, which will release on January 20.

Actor Deepika Padukone is leaving no stone unturned to make sure that the buzz around her first Hollywood film, xXx: The Return Of Xander Cage is high and keeping the audience on tenterhooks. But it is just not her, her co-star Vin Diesel is also her partner in crime. The duo, which made news for their Facebook live video where Deepika taught Vin some Hindi, has now appeared together in a small promotional video wishing everyone a happy Diwali.

Seems like Deepika is a good teacher as Vin can be seen speaking good enough Hindi in the video. Deepika looks stunning in the video while Vin Diesel, in his Indian attire, looks extremely handsome. In the video, Vin says, “Wish you a very Happy Diwali”, while Deepika continues, “This Diwali, play safe be safe” adding that the real “dhamaka” will happen on January 20, 2017 when they will come with their film to our nearest theatres.

The India-specific trailer of the film released on October 16. Deepika Padukone, who is making her Hollywood debut with xXx, promoted her film and released the trailer on the premiere episode of Bigg Boss season 10 with Salman Khan. The trailer gives a glimpse into the daredevil avatar of the actress, and it seems her role is a quite a departure from her portrayals in most Bollywood films.
