The beauty, who received much praise for her performance, was fresh and beautiful in a white Greek inspired one-shoulder Nikhil Thampi dress. Deepika’s boyfriend Ranveer Singh looked thrilled and excited to partake in his ladylove’s success as he arrived in a quirky getup.
One of Deepika’s favourite co-stars and no doubt box office lucky charm, Shah Rukh Khan also attended the party. The duo have created magic onscreen with ‘Happy New Year’, ‘Chennai Express’ and ‘Om Shanti Om’.
Among others were National awardee Kangana Ranaut, Sophie Choudry and Malaika Arora Khan.
The party had a host of filmmakers including ‘Piku’ director Shoojit Sircar, Farah Khan, Rajkumar Hirani, Anurag Kashyap, Karan Johar, Vishal Bhardwaj, R. Balki, his wife Gauri Shinde and Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
Deepika’s onscreen love Irrfan Khan was also seen at the Monday night bash. But, surprisingly, the actress’ onscreen dad, Amitabh Bachchan gave the bash a miss.
Director Anurag Kashyap looked unaffected by the debacle of his recent release ‘Bombay Velvet’ and was seen enjoying with SRK and Ranveer.
He posted a few pictures from the party.
