Shah Rukh Khan, Shah Rukh Khan dear zindagi, dear zindagi, dear zindagi film, dear zindagi cast With Dear Zindagi days away from release, indianexpress.com got a chance for an exclusive tete-a-tete with Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt.

It is hard to have Shah Rukh Khan in a frame and ensure that he is not overshadowing everyone else around him. But it seems with Dear Zindagi, Gauri Shinde and her lead star Alia Bhatt have achieved this. And guess who is the happiest about it? Shah Rukh Khan himself!

With Dear Zindagi days away from release, indianexpress.com got a chance for an exclusive tete-a-tete with the team. While both Gauri and Alia were forthright and honest, it was SRK with his quotable quotes who ruled. To begin with, the man wants to live in a world populated only by women. “To be very honest, it’s a girl’s world. And I like that. I like the sensitivity that comes along with them while meeting, writing, talking or doing interviews. They do bring in a different kind of an approach to life, which is quite powerful. They don’t need to shout out too apart from when they are angry. I like the fact that I can work with women and in a story which so extremely special. It deals with so many wonderful things that happen within the span of a journey that they have captured in Dear Zindagi. So for me, it was the first time and I hope not the last time. I really wish everyone around me was a woman… in a good way. ”

And then, he goes on to say that is a necessity for him… as an actor. ” Honestly as an actor, you have to be in a sensitive company. Women can be sensitive, men are really more macho.”

In that case, he must have been really relaxed while being directed by Gauri for Dear Zindagi? “Yeah I felt so relaxed that I went to sleep sometimes.”

And that brought us to Alia and the chemistry they shared in Dear Zindagi. This time, SRK let his very expressive eyes do the talking. He would just steal naughty glances at Alia when asked this question. Alia, on her part, can’t be more excited. While she has famously said she would love to do a romantic film opposite SRK, she said about her experience of working with him, “I was overwhelmed. Shah Rukh is someone I have admired since my childhood.”

Alia’s song from the film, Go To Hell, is becoming something of an anthem. Is it her go-to method to deal with heartbreak too? The young actor tells us that she stays away from negative emotions but talking about the song, she says, “There’s no fixed way of dealing with it. Like how a wound heals itself, the heart fixes itself. It’s just that we feel pain immediately and we don’t wish to feel pain. “

You hate a muslim if he is a failure; you hate him more when he is successful. Don't you think the problem is with you rather than with the other? Of course you cannot think straight - extremists dont have that ability.
