Arjun Rampal’s acting career has been a roller-coaster ride, but it seems his upcoming film Arun Gawli is nothing less than a breakthrough for the actor. The filmmakers have released the first teaser of the film, which will leave you spellbound. The teaser reveals an unknown side of Arjun as an actor. In the beginning, we see Arun Gawli – the character played by Arjun in the film – being interrogated by policemen about his identity and connections with the mafia.

During the entire conversation, Arjun does not lift his head but the moment he looks into the camera – you spot an anger, a confidence, and a fearless man.

Daddy is a biopic on Arun Gawli, a gangster turned politician. The teaser gives a glimpse of the character. With the film, Arjun has also stepped into a new journey of his life. He revealed at the official teaser launch that he actually started working on the script himself and penned down the story.

The Rock On 2 actor said he, of course, took some help from the director in the writing process. This year has been packed with releases for Arjun. While Rock On 2 did not do well at the box-office due to demonetisation, the actor is keeping his hopes high from his next film Kahaani 2.

The 44-year-old actor earlier shared a glimpse of his character from the film, and shook the entire industry with his uncanny resemblance to the character. In a recent media interaction, the actor shared his experience when he met Gawli for the first time. While Gawli’s name is enough to send shivers down the spine of many even today, Arjun found him to be a soft-spoken and polite man in real life.
