As superstar Salman Khan turns 50 today, a host of Bollywood celebrities have wished him loads of happiness, peace and a long life.
“For someone like Salman, I don’t think material gifts excite him,” actress Jacqueline Fernandez told PTI.

“He is a simple guy and appreciates things that are more genuine and heart felt. It has to be something authentic and thoughtful even if it means a book or drawing pencils. These are the things that he appreciates a lot more,” said the actress, who worked with Salman in the blockbuster “Kick”.
Actress Sonali Bendre, who worked with Salman in “Hum Saath Saath Hai”, said, “He is a great human being. I wish peace, happiness, great life.” (PHOTOS: Salman Khan rings in birthday with Iulia, Arpita, Genelia, Tabu)
“He is wonderful with kids. I am a fan of Salman the star,” she said.
For Sonakshi Sinha, whom Salman launched in Bollywood with his film “Dabangg”, the superstar is a source of inspiration when it comes to work.
“What can I wish for a person who has everything. He has been inspiration even at the age of 50, he is working like he used to work at the age of 25. That in itself is inspiration for anyone of our generation. He is someone I always looked upto and will always do,” Sonakshi said.
Actress Sunny Leone, who participated in Salman-hosted reality show “Bigg Boss”, is all praise for him.
“Salman does amazing things for people, whether they are famous or not famous. He helps a lot. I am a big fan of his. He was one of the first people in the industry to wish me luck…welcome me here in India. In that way I have a very special place in my heart for him,” she said.
Sunny feels the ‘Dabangg’ Khan still looks young. “I wish happiness for him and his family…everything he wants in life comes true. Monetarily he can get anything that he wants, but emotionally and his happiness is something that I wish for him,” she said.
Actor Anil Kapoor, who worked with Salman in films like “Biwi No.1”, “No Entry”, wished him happiness and long life.
“May he live for 100 years and entertains us,” Anil said.
Kapoor’s daughter Sonam, who shared screen space with Salman in the recent blockbuster “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo”, finds him the most handsome man.
“He doesn’t look like it (50 year old). He looks like a 27-year-old. He is the most handsome man,” Sonam said.
