Bipasha Basu, Karan Singh Grover’s ‘Alone’ hits screens today

Horror Queen, Bipasha Basu is back with yet another thriller, ‘Alone’ along with Television actor, Karan Singh Grover, who is marking his Bollywood debut with the screamer. Alone is today’s big release.

Directed by Bhushan Patel, ‘Alone’ revolves around the tale of a woman who is haunted by her dead conjoined twin. The trailer featuring lead actors Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover, had audiences as well as members of the film fraternity ‘ooing and aahing’, as they showered praise on them for their spooky avatars.

Not only is the film expected to send shivers down your spine, but Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover will also turn on the heat with their sizzling chemistry. The couple set the screen on fire with their song, ‘Touch My Body’ from the film.

Talking about the film, Bipasha Basu said, “They are twins but are different from each other as one is alive and one is dead and they are both in love with Kabir (played by Karan). The shooting was difficult as I had to be joined with my body double. Shooting was a different experience as a lot of time we had to take care of the distance and other technicalities while filming the conjoined part.”

Bipasha, who has previously been a part of horror films like ‘Raaz’, ‘Aatma’ and ‘Creature 3D’ says that this is her boldest film till date.

Karan Singh Grover, who is known for hir television appearances in serials like in TV serials like, ‘Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi’, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ and ‘Dill Mill Gayye’ among others, admits that he was nervous to work with the Bengali beauty.

“I was absolutely mesmerised. I was absolutely in awe of her. Yes, I was very very nervous working with her,” said Karan. “I am just happy that I was given the opportunity. I hope I can live up to everyone’s expectations,” he added further.
