Chacha-Bhatija jodi Anil Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor will release Mubarakan in July 2017

The real life uncle-nephew Anil Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor is all set to share the silver screen with Mubarakan on July 28, 2017.

How much Arjun kapoor loves his ‘chachu’ Anil Kapoor isn’t unknown. He never shies away from aping the histrionics of his amazing uncle, be it his signature dance moves or the ‘Jhakaas’ style. And the long wait to see the two of them teaming up for a project, is set to end. The real life uncle-nephew jodi is all set to share the silver screen for the first time and the release date of the film has just been declared. Filmmaker Anees Bazmee’s upcoming film Mubarakan is making us immensely curious as it will bring back these two handsome actors. And it is set to hit the screens on July 28 next year.

Both Anil and Arjun took to their individual Twitter pages to share the release date of the movie.

“You are all invited !!! #Mubarakan @arjunk26 @Ileana_Official @theathiyashetty @Mubarakanfilm on 28th July, 2017 !” the Ishaqzaade actor wrote along side a wedding invite revealing the cast and release date.

The 24 actor too tweeted, “Wedding of the year! Save the date #Mubarakan @BazmeeAnees @ashwinvarde @MuradKhetani
@SnehaRajani #July28”

A photograph of a wedding card, shared on the official page of the film, read: “Madness is about to start with the Chacha-Bhatija jodi! #Mubarakan”

The movie will not only bring Anil, 59, and Arjun, 31, on screen, it will also see the two of them reprising their real life roles of uncle and nephew in the film too.

The film also stars Athiya Shetty and Ileana D’Cruz.

“A world full of madness, chaos, confusion, & of course love is about to begin!!!! #Mubarakan,” Ileana posted on Instagram.

The movie is produced by Shaukeen producers Murad Khetani and Ashwin Varde. Mubarakan was earlier supposed to be directed by Milap Zaveri. However, when things didn’t work out, Bazmee was roped in.

The team will start filming for the project in November this year.
