Amitabh Bachchan to help restore Charlie Chaplin’s film

Big B will be backing the restoration of the film <i>Footwalker</i>.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan plans to revive the works of one of world’s most popular comedy artist Charlie Chaplin by restoring some of his old works.

Amitabh Bachchan will be backing the restoration of the film Footwalker (1916) starring Chaplin which was also directed by him.

It’s not just Big B himself,but popular filmmakers and film foundations globally are planning to get together for this Charlie Chaplin restoration project.

Durangpur,who is a part of Cineteca di Bologna which has collaborated with Chaplin Estate to reinstate these film works,believes that it was a huge boost to have Big B on board to promote this project.

However,the actor himself hasn’t made any official announcement regarding the same.
