Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, actor Rishi Kapoor and Fitoor actors Katrina Kaif and Aditya Roy Kapoor offered heartfelt prayers for Lance Naik Hanumanthappa Koppad, the lone soldier who was rescued alive after being buried under snow in the Siachen for six days.
Koppad was buried alive in the early hours of February 3, when their post at Siachen Glacier was hit by an avalanche. Nine soldiers, who were buried along with him, died.

Katrina and Adtiya, who were unaware of the matter until the media informed them about it, sounded concerned and said, “We will keep him in our prayers. Miracles like these keep our faith in the strength of humanity and we have to thank our army for making it happen.”
