Humbled says Amitabh Bachchan after National Award win for Piku

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan was modesty personified after clinching the National Film Award Best Actor for his stellar performance as Bhaskor Banerjee in Piku.

In a message sent to IndianExpress.com , Amitabh Bachchan expressed his happiness by writing, “Thank you. Gracious of you. Humbled. Aneek dhanyavad. Abhaar.”

This is Amitabh Bachchan’s fourth National Award. The actor first won a National Award Best Actor for Agneepath in 1990. His next two National Award wins happened in 2005 and 2009 for Black and Paa respectively. Complete list of Winners of 63rd National Film Awards
