Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has given a thumbs up to director Ram Gopal Varma’s upcoming underworld drama film ‘Satya 2’.

The legendary actor wrote on his blog that Ram Gopal Varma’s sequel to the 1998 film ‘Satya’,was ‘most impressive’.

He wrote: But later in the evening a quick visit to a ‘party’ organised by Ram Gopal Verma, which has to be historic in concept because he never goes to one and never gives one … but he wanted me to be present for the introduction of his new film ‘Satya 2’ .. and may I say it was most impressive .. an entire new cast and an entire new thought on the story .. all the young talent looked and were seen to be doing well .. I wish them all success ..

Meanwhile,Ram Gopal Varma chose the occasion to give a history of his reason to enter films and credited it to me .. which was quite a moment .. as can be seen in the pictures ...

Amitabh Bachchan has worked with Ram Gopal Varma for a similar genre in hit films ‘Sarkar’ and ‘Sarkar Raj’. Besides the actor has worked in ‘RGV ki Aag’.

In ‘Satya 2’,the filmmaker explores a new underworld all together, but he denies any connection to the prequel.

Ram Gopal Varma said: “‘Satya 2’ has no connection with ‘Satya.’ This concept comes from where there is no underworld.” Talking more about the film,he adds,”Underworld is no longer the same as it was during 1997-2004. And just when you think that underworld has become defunct,it re-emerges.”

The trailer of the film begins with the message—Underworld will never die,it just keeps changing form, and history is a witness to the fact that every new form of underworld has always originated from the thinking of a rebellious individual.

Starring Puneet Singh Ratn,Anaika Soti,Mahesh Thakur and Vikram Singh,’Satya 2′ is set to release on October 25.
