ajay devgn, abigail eames, shivaay Shivaay: Ajay Devgn reveals Shivaay is a film based on father-daughter relationship.

Ajay Devgn might seem to be a hard nut to crack given his macho image in Bollywood but the man can break into a flood of tears too. All it took for Ajay to cry was 15-year-old British artiste Abigail Eames. Apparently, Ajay was so overwhelmed by Abigail’s acting skills that he could not hold himself. While speaking to indianexpress.com in an exclusive interview, Ajay said, “Oh, she is such a fabulous actor! She has just beaten all of us. She is an extremely sensitive actor and I am sure people will love her too.”

Throwing some light on the story, Ajay said that the film is not about the action but it is about the relationship that a father (played by Ajay) and a daughter (played by Abigail) share. He says the film will take the audience on an emotional ride and he promises that the action is just not placed in the film for the sake of it but is according to the story. “Action leaves an effect only when it is emotion driven. You will see that even when I am hitting people, I am not happy about it but I am hurt. So, it’s a basic human story and even the action has been done in as realistic a way as possible.”

During a conversation with Erika Kaar, who plays the wife of Ajay Devgn in the film, the actor revealed that Ajay had advised the actors to refrain from putting on make-up in some scenes. Talking about the same Ajay said, “According to me, make-up hides people’s expression. And these girls are very beautiful so they did not really required make-up. Also, not every scene requires you to dab yourself. For instance, if you apply make-up in a hospital scene it will look stupid. So, as I said, to keep everything about the film as real as our general life, I asked them not to do so.”

On being asked if Diwali is going to be special for him, Ajay said it is going to be as normal as every year. “I am going to be with my family.
