However, there were reports making the rounds that a few scenes from the film have been chopped including Ajay Devgn’s kissing and lovemaking scene with Erika Kaar. The reports were untrue. In fact, Ajay said in an exclusive interview with indianexpress.com that he was shocked to know about this.

“The reports of the kiss being trimmed in the film are wrong. We were quite shocked and surprised when we got to know about this report that you’ve just mentioned. It came out way before CBFC actually saw the film. As far as the kiss scene is concerned, it’s purely the demand of the script and it’s been quite aesthetically done. And CBFC hasn’t touched even one frame of it. It’s not a long kiss or any kind of sensationalism. In fact, the cuts they had asked me to make to the films are extremely valid and even I had doubts about the same things.” On being asked about what these cuts were, Ajay said some dialogues with inappropriate words have been edited.

Ajay also said he is not bothered about competition between Shivaay and Karan Johar’s film, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil at the box office on Diwali. Ajay said he does not get bothered by the competition nor does he have time to give heed to all of it. On the work front, Ajay is gearing up for Baadshaho and Golmaal 4, which will release on Diwali 2017.
