Ae Dil Hai Mushkil international box office: Karan Johar, Ranbir Kapoor break records

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil international box office: Karan Johar film has done a collection of Rs 43.72 crore overseas, bringing its total collection to Rs 97.07 crore.

Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is not only enjoying fan’s love at the Indian box office but is a hit in the international markets too. Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anushka Sharma-starrer is having no ‘mushkil’ in terms of earnings. After a superb opening weekend collection in the international markets of Rs 41.05 cr, ADHM is set for a blockbuster business.

 

Going by trade analyst Tarah Adarsh, ADHM is the highest opening weekend grosser for Karan Johar and Ranbir. Taran shared the box office updates of ADHM in the international markets. He tweeted, “#ADHM continues its VICTORY MARCH in the international arena… Total till Mon: $ 6.55 million [₹ 43.72 cr].”

He also tweeted the film’s India biz. “#ADHM is TERRIFIC… Mon HIGHER than Fri, Sat, Sun… Fri 13.30 cr, Sat 13.10 cr, Sun 9.20 cr, Mon 17.75 cr. Total: ₹ 53.35 cr. India biz,” he wrote. In total, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has earned 97.07 crore.

Earlier, Taran had shared, “#ADHM packs a SOLID PUNCH in intl markets… Opening weekend: $ 6.15 million [₹ 41.05 cr]… HIGHEST opening weekend for KJo and Ranbir.”

The Karan Johar film went head-to-head with Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay at the box office. While the collection was respectable on the first day of the film’s release, a sudden spike was seen on Monday. Both the films have passed the Litmus test and have shown superb growth in their collections.

Shivaay’s international box office collections are still not out but the film is going neck-to-neck with Karan’s ADHM in India.
