Ranveer Singh is having the best time of his life right now. After gaining immense popularity as an actor with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani, he is working with the ace director of industry, Aditya Chopra, who is known for creating history with films like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.
However, shooting with Aditya can be a task. While talking about how demanding Aditya Chopra is, Ranveer said the director never called him by his name, instead would call him with a word that he was hesitant to reveal. But knowing how Befikre Ranveer is, he told us anyway.
He even involved Pamela Chopra, wife of late filmmaker Yash Chopra, in his answer. Ranveer said, “Aditya Chopra is the hardest taskmaster. Pam Aunty Kaise paida kiya. He has a soft corner for only a few handful of people in his life. I ask him a thing over and over again and he just says ‘Umm… Ah…’ He doesn’t even address me by my name. I can’t even say… The word stars with C.”
Later, the actor added that Aditya Chopra is the most fascinating director he has ever worked with and he wishes that he makes more films and casts him.
The Bajirao Mastani actor spoke about his Paris connection. He said his connection to the place goes back to the times when he was just 21. He said that he was in Paris for a shooting where 30,000 people were watching how a Bollywood song is executed and the shoot was being choreographed by legendary Saroj Khan. Adding that it won’t be an exaggeration to say that Befikre is a special film for him given it is directed by his mentor, Aditya Chopra.
