Salman Khan is unusual when he is hosting a show. He is entertaining but also knows how to grill the contestants when required and may be that’s why he has been constant as a host for the past few seasons of the controversial reality show, Bigg Boss. On Weekend Ka Vaar, November 20 episode, Salman became the brand ambassador of Swami Om’s photo frame, leaving the audiences in splits. The actor said the one who owns this frame can become a great actor, a king of the world and a beauty queen, which has often been said by Swami Om on the show.
The actor also won hearts for his performance on ‘Jag Ghoomeya’ from Sultan, on Alia Bhatt’s request, who was on the show to promote her upcoming film, Dear Zindagi. Alia also went inside the house where she asked the contestants to woo her through props. Though the competition was quite tough, Alia was a bit biased towards Manoj Punjabi and choose him as the best performer.
During the show, we also saw contestants going through the truth and dare task – Thappad se Darr Lagta Hai – but with a twist. This time, the contestants were slapped only if their answer matched with the rest of the housemates.
Though the task was taken on a lighter note by everyone, Manveer Gurjar seemed a bit upset with Manoj Punjabi who had agreed when Salman asked if Manveer purposely takes a dig at Swami Om. Swami Om was asked whether he would slap Mona Lisa if given a chance.
Though Swami said ‘no’, Salman reminded him that he has seen a footage where he has slapped a woman on national television. However, he refrained from saying more.
