This season of Bigg Boss is all about Swami Om. Though after each episode we try to figure out why is he the way he is, we even accept his apologies but then he goes and commits an all-new transgression.
The self-proclaimed godman has a moralistic take on everything that happens inside the house, especially where women of the house are involved. His ‘moral lessons’ might have irked the contestants of the house but for Salman Khan, the host of the show, he has been the best entertainer. In fact, once Salman had even urged the contestants to never nominate Swami for eviction else all the fun and spice will leave the house too. Despite being cornered by all the housemates and also after being given the tag of a ‘liar’ inside the house, Swami remains untouched by their opinions and plays the game in a way that pleases only himself.
But, in the previous Weekend ka Vaar ka episode, we saw Salman upset with his favorite contestant of the Bigg Boss house. He even lectured him for his constant sexist remarks and incessant bad-mouthing other contestants. But, Colors CEO Raj Nayak has a different stance on Swami Om. He finds him an interesting contestant who has given the show such content which is on par with the format of the show.
Outside the house too, Swami Om sparked controversies when it came to light that he had a case pending against him for allegedly breaking into a bicycle shop along with three men and stealing 11 bicycles, spare parts, sale deed of the house and some other documents. In an exclusive interview with indianexpress.com, Raj Nayak had defended him for this as well, “It doesn’t matter if he has a case against him. He is not a convict. So many people have cases against them. At the time of auditions, the content team looks at a contestant they think will be good for the show and takes him or her.”
Nayak even believes that the controversial contestant might come out of the show as a changed man. “Today he is our most popular contestant and who knows, he might come out as a changed person!” he said.

Not only Raj Nayak but also Rakhi Sawant, who has earlier been a contestant on Bigg Boss, wants Swami Om to be in the final race of the show. Ask her if she has been following Bigg Boss 10 and she gets all excited. “I love this season, it is my favorite season so far. I wish I was inside the house. Om Swami is so much fun. He is an interesting, funny personality. Had I been inside the house, I would have troubled him a lot, though in a harmless way, ” she said in an interview to a daily. On being asked whom she sees as the finalist, she takes Swami Om’s name.
But, do you think Swami Om can or should stay in the Bigg Boss 10 house till the finals? Let us know by casting your vote in the poll.
