Bigg Boss is not only about fame but money too. We are sure that the channel and makers of the show make a whopping amount of money, thanks to all the controversies created on the show. In fact, celebs who participate in the show take a fat pay cheque home. They are paid on the basis of weeks they survive on the show. No surprise then that the celebs put their heart and soul in performing each task.

By the way, this amount is beyond their signing amount and, of course, if any one of them wins the show, they take away the winning amount. So, from Salman Khan to celeb contestants to Colors, Bigg Boss 10 is a win-win for everybody.

However, in the current season, the show’s format has changed. Apart from a few famous names from the entertainment industry, the show is also hosting Indiawale aka as the commoners. Now, these commoners are, of course, in search of a platform, which makes their career and gets them some fame. And, according to reports, this is all they will get out of the show because they are not being paid. Yes, you read that right.

So, according to a report, commoners are being paid nothing for their stint in the show. As quoted by a source of BollywoodLife.com, “The celebrities were given a signing amount, plus they are also being paid a fixed weekly remuneration. But the commoners are not being paid anything. Their pay scale will depend on the weeks they spend inside the house. But obviously, if a commoner manages to win the show, he/she will get the winning amount.”

Despite indianexpress.com’s efforts to get in touch with Colors, no comment was forthcoming.
