SSC CHSL 2015: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) of eastern and southern regions have activated the admit card link for CHSL 2015 Tier 2 examination on their official websites. SSC will conduct the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) examination 2015 on September 18, 2016 from 10 am to 11 am (forenoon session) at selected exam centres.
It will be a descriptive paper of 100 marks and will be in a ‘pen and paper mode’, that is, the exam will be hand written and not computer based. The admit cards for SSC CHSL 2015 exam Tier 2 of other regions will release soon.
If any candidate faces difficulty or is not able to download his or her admit card then the candidate should contact the concerned regional office of the Commission with their details at least 7 days before the date of the exam.
On August 11, 2016, the SSC had released a notification stating that the Commission has added one more level to the CHSL 2015 examination. So, the SSC will hold the CHSL exam in three levels — Tier I, Tier II and Tier III.
Tier I will be descriptive, Tier 2 will test essay and letter/application writing skills while the Tier 3 exam would continue to be the skill test/typing test which would be of a qualifying nature. The final merit of the successful candidates would be calculated on the basis of total score obtained by them in Tier 1 and Tier 2.

Steps to download SSC CHSL 2015 admit card
Log in to the official websites – sscsr.gov.in and sscer.org
On the homepage, click on the link SSC CHSL 2015 Download admit card
A new page will open
Enter the required details like registration number, date of birth etc
The hall ticket will appear on the screen
Take a print out and carry it in the exam hall
Exam pattern of CHSL 2015 Tier 2 paper
The paper would comprise writing of an essay of 200-250 words and letter / application writing of approximately 150-200 words. The duration of the paper would be for one hour.
The minimum qualifying marks would be 33 per cent. The performance in Tier 2 would be included for preparing merit. The paper will have to be written either in Hindi or in English.
The Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination, 2015 Tier 1 was held on November, December, 2015 and July, 2016.
