The second mega parent-teacher meeting, to be held Saturday in Delhi government schools, will focus on parents’ involvement with their child’s education. Officials said in the second PTM, parents will be given their child’s report cards and their performance will be discussed.
Advisor to the education minister Atishi Marlena, said, “For many parents whose children are in government schools, results exist in the binary of pass or fail. Since the no detention policy is in place and no child can fail till Class VIII, parents are not aware of their child’s performance till then. Schools will hand over report cards to parents and discuss what their child is doing in school.”
