KEA CET 2016: Karnataka Examination Authority will release the seat allotment results in CET second extended round today at 6 pm. About 351 medical seats in minority colleges, 155 medical seats in deemed colleges and 299 dental seats are open for allotment in the second round seat allotment.

The eligible candidates (except those who have exercised choice 1 in the first and second rounds and reported to the college, candidates who have cancelled the allotted seats and choice 4 candidates) can participate in this round. The eligible students were allowed to exercise option entry from July 22 and as per the schedule.

The confirmation of allotment, fee payment and admission order download will be open for Julu 27 to 28. The students have to report to the allotted college to get admission by 5.30 pm on July 29, 2016.

The candidates will have only one choice to exercise in second extended round.

Note: The candidate who surrenders the seat allotted in the second extended round, the entire amount paid by them will be forfeited as per rules

Steps to check Karnataka CET 2016 Seat Allotment result
Go to the official website
Click on the link displaying ‘Second Round Allotment Results’ on the page or from the right hand column of the page
Select ‘Second Extended Round Results’, enter your CET number in the provided field
After filling required details click on submit button
Check your first round seat allotment
Take a printout of that page for further reference.

The Karnataka Examination Authority had conducted the KCET examination on May 4 and 5 respectively. KCET is conducted for admissions to medical, dental, engineering and architecture courses.

As per reports, this year 1.75 lakh aspirants appeared for the exam. Out of the 1.75 lakh students 41,350 aspirants are eligible for admissions of medical and dental courses. About 1,395 for architecture and 1.27 lakh were eligible for admissions to engineering.
