The result of the Diploma Common Entrance Test (DCET) 2016 Seat Allotment have been declared on the official website of the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). Students can download the same from the official website of the KEA.

The choice filling option had been available to students from July 22 up to July 28, 2016. The mock allotment results of the diploma common entrance test have already been published. The common entrance exam is held to shortlist eligible students for admission to various engineering and architecture courses in educational institutions across the state.

Steps to check the Karnataka KEA DCET Seat Allotment result 2016:

Log on to the official website of the Karnataka Examination Authority, kea.kar.nic.in

From the right hand side of the page, select the ‘DCET 2016’

You will be redirected to a new page from where you have to select the relevant result link

Another page will open where you will have to enter your DCET number

Your result will be displayed when you click on ‘submit’ or press ‘enter’

Important points to remember: 

Candidates can also check their fee payment details and download their admission order form from the same page by click on the link and entering their DCET number in the new page that opens.

Students can confirm their admission from July 30, 2016 to August 3, 2016. The fee has to be paid through a bank challan. If the candidate does not wish to avail of the allotment granted in the first round then he or she can wait for the second round of seat allotment results to be published on the website of the Authority. Only two rounds of allotment will be issued by the Authority.
