IBPS CPR PO/MT recruitment 2016: The recruitment process of the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection’s (IBPS) Probationary Officer (PO) and Management Trainee (MT) has begun. Interested candidates can apply through the official website of the IBPS to register for the selection of these posts to be held under the Common Recruitment Process (CPR). Here are the details of the the IBPS CPR PO MT recruitment process 2016:

Selection process: The recruitment exam will be held online in two phases: The preliminary phase and the mains phase. Only those who clear the preliminary exam will be able to sit for the mains exam.

The online exam will then be followed by an interview round for those who are able to clear the mains exam.

Successful candidates will be absorbed into the respective posts according to the vacancy needs of the participating organisations as well as the reservation guidelines, administrative convenience, etc.

The score of the IBPS CPR score for PO/MT recruitment exam VI will be valid till March 31, 2018 after which they will not be considered valid for recruitment and candidates will have to take the exam again.

Exam date: The final date of the examination had not been finalized yet. The tentative schedule of the examination is October/November, 2016.

Participating organisations: Allahabad Bank, Andhra Bank, Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Canara Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Punjab National Bank, Punjab & Sind Bank, Syndicate Bank, UCO Bank, Union Bank of India, United Bank of India and Vijaya Bank.

Call letter available for pre-exam training: September 23, 2016

Last date for call letter download for pre-exam training: October 8, 2016

Pre-exam training: October 3, 2016 to October 8, 2016

Call letter/admit card download for preliminary exam: October, 2016

Tentative dates of online prelims exam: October 16, 22 and 23, 2016

Prelims result: November, 2016

Download of call letter/admit card for online mains exam: November, 2016

How to apply: 

IBPS PO/MT aspirants need to register with the official website of the IBPS with a valid email ID. Keep the username and password of IBPS website ready. Registering with a valid email ID is necessary as the IBPS will be sending your call letters and exam notifications to this email address.

Keep ready a soft copy of your photograph and a scanned copy of your signature Log on to the website http://www.ibps.in. On the left hand side of the main page, will be the link ‘CWE PO/MT’.

A new link will open where you can select the post you wish to apply to. Go to the link ‘Apply Online’.

Enter your registered email ID and IBPS password sent to your email

Select your post and corresponding application form. Enter all the required details such as personal details, contact information, date of birth, educational qualifications, work experience etc, as required.

Upload your photograph and signature copies to the website in the slot provided. check all your details and make the payment. The last step is to make the payment.

Save a copy of your filled up application form to your computer and to take a print out as you will need the information entered for reference in future.
