Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) will conduct the written examination for Senior Secondary/Secondary (class 10th and class 12th) on March 8.
Over 7.6 lakh students will appear for the exam this year. Around 3,99,523 lakh students will appear for the Secondary exam out of which 1,55,865 are girl students and 2,43,658 are boys.
About 3,01,158 will apper for the Senior Secondary examination with 1,12,061 girl students and 1,89,097 boy students.
The Board has appointed 14,813 supervisors in 1,482 exam centres.
Secondary’s first semester (re-appear) will begin from March 9 till March 28 and second semester (regular/ re-appear) will start from March 8 to March 26 from 11 am to 1:30 pm. Senior Secondary’s (regular/ re-appear) exam will start from 2:30 pm.
BSEH has already postponed the practical examination for Senior Secondary/Secondary (class 10th and class 12th). The exams will now commence from March 30 to April 8. The theory examination will commence as per the schedule.
With a view to curbing cheating during the Haryana School Education Board Examinations, the state government has sought the help of newly-elected educated and young members of Panchayati Raj institutions.
Education Minister Ram Bilas Sharma said in an official release that he has directed the district education officers to constitute committees of newly-elected members of PRIs and intellectuals who would be present outside the examination centres and make people aware of the evils of cheating.
